Overview
The Pololu ACS37030LMYATR-025B3 current sensor module is a compact carrier based on the Allegro ACS37030LMYATR-025B3 sensor IC. It is designed for galvanically isolated current measurement in the range of -25 A to +25 A and operates from a 3.3 V supply. The module provides an analog voltage output proportional to the measured current, making it suitable for evaluation and integration in measurement setups and embedded systems.
With a bandwidth from DC to 5 MHz and a typical response time of 40 ns, this sensor module is intended for applications that require both low-frequency and high-frequency current information. The sensing principle combines a Hall-effect-based path for DC and low-frequency signals with an inductive coil for high-frequency current information. The electrically isolated current path allows insertion anywhere along the current path where isolation is required.
The carrier PCB includes routed slots to support higher isolation capability and greater creepage and clearance distances. It also features 0.1-inch power, ground, and output pins, plus optional connection points for 4-wire measurement of current path resistance. The ACS37030MY version is described as providing higher isolation capability.
