Overview

The Pololu ACS37030LMYATR-040B3 current sensor module carrier is based on the Allegro ACS37030LMYATR-040B3 and is designed for galvanically isolated current measurement in electronic systems. It supports a measurement range of -40 A to +40 A and operates from a 3.3 V supply. The module provides an analog output proportional to the measured current and offers bandwidth from DC to 5 MHz, making it suitable for both static current monitoring and fast transient observation.

The sensor combines two sensing paths: a Hall-effect sensor for DC and low-frequency current information and an inductive coil for high-frequency content. A typical response time of 40 ns is specified. The output is non-ratiometric, so zero point and sensitivity are independent of the actual supply voltage. A VREF output is also available for pseudo-differential signaling in noisy environments. The carrier PCB includes routed slots to support the higher isolation capability and increased creepage and clearance distances of ACS37030MY devices.

Clearly labeled power, ground, and output connections are provided on 0.1-inch pitch pins for straightforward integration.
