Overview

The Pololu ACS37030MY current sensor module is a compact carrier built around the Allegro ACS37030MY for galvanically isolated current measurement. It is designed for a supply voltage of 3.3 V and measures current in the range of -65 A to +65 A. The module provides an analog voltage output proportional to current and supports a bandwidth from DC to 5 MHz, making it suitable for both steady-state current monitoring and fast current transients.

The sensor uses a galvanically isolated primary current path and combines a Hall-effect-based sensing path for DC and low-frequency information with an inductive coil for high-frequency content. Typical response time is 40 ns. The ACS37030MY version offers a higher isolation rating and greater creepage and clearance distance than ACS37030LZ versions, and the carrier PCB includes routed slots to support these benefits. A VREF output is provided for pseudo-differential signaling, and the module includes integrated digital temperature compensation.
