Compute Module IO Board with PoE Feature, Composite Breakout Board for Developing with Raspberry Pi CM4S / CM3 / CM3L / CM3+ / CM3+L

Overview

The Waveshare Compute Module IO Board, compact with PoE function, is a compute module carrier board for Raspberry Pi Compute Modules. According to the manufacturer, it supports Raspberry Pi CM4S as well as the CM3 series, including CM3, CM3L, CM3+, and CM3+L. With its compact 114 × 84.4 mm form factor, the board is designed for development and integration tasks where a versatile base board is required.

The board provides a 10/100M Ethernet interface with PoE support, four USB ports, HDMI and DSI display interfaces, two CSI camera interfaces, GPIO access for HAT connection, and USB to UART for serial debugging. PoE input is specified as 37 V to 57 V DC, and the PoE power output is rated at 5 V / 2.5 A. In addition, power can also be supplied via the micro USB port.

This carrier board is suitable for applications that require network connectivity, peripheral expansion, display output, camera input, and debugging access in a Raspberry Pi Compute Module-based design.
