Overview
The Adafruit MAX44009 Wide-range Lux Light Sensor is a compact ambient light sensor module based on the MAX44009 controller IC. It is designed for illuminance measurements over a wide range from 0.045 lx to 188000 lx and communicates via an I2C interface. The module is suitable for integration into embedded systems, measurement setups, and automation projects that require digital ambient light sensing.
With a supply voltage range of 1.7 V to 3.6 V, the board is intended for low-voltage designs. It supports the STEMMA QT / Qwiic connector ecosystem, which simplifies integration into compatible prototype and embedded platforms.
